3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or accessing the website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to make a purchase. By placing an order you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

4. Products, Colours and Sizing

All products are described as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images or other content are complete, current or error-free.

Product photographs are taken under studio lighting conditions. Colours may appear differently depending on your screen, device settings and ambient lighting. Minor variation between the image and the product you receive is not considered a defect.

As our garments are made in small batches, slight variations in print placement, fabric texture and finish may occur between pieces. This is characteristic of the product and not a manufacturing fault.

Our size chart is provided on every product page. We recommend measuring yourself before ordering. Sizing is a guide, and fit may vary slightly across styles and fabrics.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST).

We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time the order is confirmed.

While we make every effort to ensure pricing accuracy, errors may occur. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund any amount paid, whether or not the order has been confirmed.

Payment is processed through third-party payment gateways. We do not store your card or banking details. Your use of those services is subject to the payment provider's own terms.

6. Order Acceptance and Cancellation

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing error, stock unavailability, or where the delivery address falls outside our serviceable area.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the amount paid will be refunded through the original payment method.

Cancellation requests by the customer must be made before the order has been dispatched. Once dispatched, our Cancellation & Return Policy applies.

Customised orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping and delivery are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Returns, Exchanges and Store Credit

Returns and exchanges are governed by our Cancellation & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

In summary: return requests must be raised by email within 7 days of delivery, returned items must be sent within 5 days of approval in original condition with tags and packaging intact, and returns are refunded as store credit rather than to the original payment method. Customised orders are not eligible for return or refund.

9. User Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and current information when registering. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that we believe has been used in breach of these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website - including designs, garment patterns, photographs, graphics, text, logos and the House of Tan name and marks - is the property of Houseoftan or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, or commercially exploit any part of this website or our product imagery without our prior written permission. Unauthorised use may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.
